Being self-employed in the tax business since his twenties, David M. Samarzia formed Small Business Resource Center, a Public Accounting Service, in 1987 for tax preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping,. The business quickly expanded to include both personal and small business accounts.

In 2008, SBRC moved from Duluth MN to southeast Michigan, adding "of Oakland County" to its name (but covering other counties also.)

Now we focus on helping individual, start-up, and entrepreneurial clients with accounting, income tax preparation, and business consulting. For personal, businesses with Schedule C sole proprietor or partnerships, and Corporations.
